It seems that Magellan will release their super-sized navigation gadget very soon. The Magellan RoadMate 1700 comes equipped with a generous 7-inch display with 6 million points of interest, AAA Tour Book, maps of North America, text-to-speech and multiple-point routing capability. You can place your pre-order for $299 a pop, and expect the RoadMate 1700 to ship sometime this fall.
