Is That a Wii On Your Head Or...!!!

Yup, you're also happy to see me. The Nintendo Wii has done a fantastic job of infiltrating the mainstream, but there are still plenty of weirdos hanging out on the fringe. For a whole new take on the motion sensitive craze, check out the WiiHelm, an accessory for the Nintendo Wii that literally places the control on your head.

It's glossy white like the rest of the gaming console and comes with a slot where you can fit the Wii Remote. You don't have to worry about finding the buttons on top of your head either, because there is a foot pedal included that "allows easy button presses using minimal toe effort." Using this system, your hands become completely free to grab your Coke from the coffee table.

What's more, the WiiHelm makes for a more efficient gaming experience: "it was found that manipulating muscles in your neck for 10 minutes uses 64% less energy than waving your arms about like a lunatic." Right, like spinning your head around doesn't make you look like a lunatic.

Mobile Phone on Your Wrist

The latest approximation of the famous comic book detective Dick Tracy's two-way wristwatch radio is the M300, a mobile phone wristwatch out of Australia. This tri-mode GSM/GPRS phone has all the hallmarks of a fully functional mobile, including a speaker phone, Bluetooth, an MP3 player, and large-quantity phonebook. What it also has going for it is the Bluetooth data transfer and dial up networking, an internal antenna, and a USB port, so you can transfer files, tunes, and spy plans from your PC to your wrist.

Talk time is a cool 200 minutes, and standby time is an amazing 80 hours. The screen isn't exactly huge, since it's a wristwatch, but it's a color OLED one, so at least you'll be entertained a bit.

The M300 comes in a variety of colors and color combinations, with two-tone combos a possibility (baby blue and pink, for instance, for the Breathless Mahoneys among us). SMS Technology, the manufacturer, reports that M300s will begin shipping next month, with pricing expected to hover around US$500

PCs are diminishing

Nowadays, a lot of high-tech gadgets are appearing daily. Way back years ago, if you have a personal computers at home you are rich, if you have a mobile phone you are rich. But now, if you have personal computers and a mobile phone you’re just a normal being. At this time, you can now buy a PC worth P15,000 or $300 that is smaller compare to the original price of them a years ago. In mobile phones, almost everybody owns it. Almost 90% Filipinos owns a mobile phone and I think 80% of that 90% are high-tech phones wherein it acts like a personal computer.
